Note on Fee Schedules and Changing Services

• Changing the Procedure on a Service will cause a look-up of the Fee for that procedure.
• It uses the claims Sequence 1 Policy to find the Payer and associated Payer Group (if one exists) to locate the fee.
• If there is no Fee Schedule Definition of the Procedure (or no Fee Schedule), the Procedures Default Fee is used.
• Changing a modifier will not cause a fee look-up.
