Please be aware that the recent update to Mozilla Firefox web browser to version 52.0 removed plug-ins for Adobe/PDF applications. Depending on the settings in the Firefox web browser, users may experience an issue with their reports that utilize the PDF application being sent to Downloads instead of popping up in the normal preview window to view before printing. The Firefox settings can easily be checked and adjusted. There are two areas of the web browser that you will need to check and possibly edit a setting.

1. You will need to review the PDF Default Value setting in about:config.

To review and edit the PDF default in about:config, open a new tab in your web browser. In the Search or Enter Address bar, type in:
about:config
and strike your [enter] key. You will see the following message:

You will then select "I accept the risk.".

In the Search box, type in:
pdfjs.disabled

You will see the default in bold text as you type it. If the value is set to "false", then double-click on the value to change it to true. Once that is accomplished, you can close out of that browser tab.

2. Verify the Firefox Application settings for Adobe Acrobat Document are set to Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

The new Firefox browser window has an easy access to Options by selecting the menu button at the top, far right of the Firefox web page. Select the Menu button, and then select Options.
