User Add/Edit

Features

  • Non-duplicate User ID Verification
  • Password Length and Strength Minimum Requirements

All users are required to have a User ID, Password (verified and one that meets security settings), a Security Level, First and Last Name.

A User cannot modify a User with a higher Security Level.

Things to do here:

  • Changing a Users Security Level
  • User can be allowed/denied permission to mark records as deleted
  • User can be restricted by a User Group
  • User can be linked to a Provider for DuxWare Mobile

User Setup: New and Updated Features

  • Any 3 letter or less password has been forced to expire.
  • User E-mail is now a required field.
  • All Users can change their own password.
  • Ability to set User Management to a level below 5.
    • New System Permission that allows a user to modify other users (reset passwords, etc)
    • Contact Customer Support if you would like assistance with this option.
  • Disable User after X login attempts
    • X is specified by System Configuration - Contact Customer Support to change number of login attemtps
    • Value is currently set to 10
    • This feature cannot be fully disabled.
  • Disable User after (365) days without login
    • Number of days is controlled by System Configuration - Contact Customer Support to change Expire days
    • This feature cannot be fully disabled.
    • This feature can be disabled BY USER using 'Never Expire Password' - Yes
  • Notification to L5 users when
    • A User is Disabled by Password Expiration
    • A User is Disabled by Password Failed Attempts
  • User specific Never Expire Password
  • Accelerators on login changed
    • Enter key behavior is more ... intuitive
  • Second Factor Authentication by PIN mechanism
    • Any user can have a Personal Pin in addition to password.
    • Second Factor Authentication is requested after password at login time.
