Responsible Party is not the Patient
- Click Responsible Party Edit button on Patient Information Screen
- Choose the Relationship between the Patient and the Responsible Party
- Either;
- Search for the Responsible Party and Select it from the list
- Click Add New to create a new Responsible Party to use
Responsible Party is the Patient
- Click Responsible Party Edit button on Patient Information Screen
- Choose 'Self' as the Relationship
What's the difference between Guarantor, Responsible Party and Policy Holder?
Guarantor and Responsible Party are two terms for the same thing.
A Guarantor is the person responsible for paying the patients bill. Such a parent.
A Policy Holder, or Insurance Policy Holder is the person named as the owner of an Insurance Policy.
Who gets the Statement? The Responsible Party or the Patient?
This depends on how Statements are configured.
